Europe's Highest Sea Cliff
Cabo Girão rises 580 metres above the ocean in Câmara de Lobos, making it one of the highest sea cliffs in Europe. The suspended glass skywalk lets you look straight down at the coastal fajãs below, with panoramic views stretching across to Câmara de Lobos and Funchal.
Beyond the Skywalk
The site is also popular for paragliding and BASE jumping, and the small Nossa Senhora de Fátima chapel, built in 1951, sits nearby as a pilgrimage site.
