The Island's Only Boulder Gym
Tucked into Funchal, Madeira Climbing Center bills itself as the only dedicated boulder climbing gym on the island. Indoors, regularly reset walls and a Moonboard interactive training system keep things challenging whether you're a first-timer or training seriously.
Beyond the Gym
The center also runs outdoor climbing excursions to Ponta de São Lourenço, Madeira's dramatic eastern tip, along with canyoning adventures elsewhere on the island. Equipment rental (shoes, chalk) and professional instruction are available for climbers of every level.
